Español: Palacio Barolo, Avenida de Mayo 1370, Buenos Aires, Argentina. El arquitecto italiamo Mario Palanti construyó este palacio a pedido del empresario textil Luis Barolo. Este edificio posee la particularidad de haber sido entre 1923, fecha de la inuguración, y 1935 el edificio más alto de la ciudad, siendo desplazado del primer puesto cuando se construyó el Kavanagh. Para dar una idea de su altura, su cúpula central equivale a la altura de un vigésimocuarto piso. Su propietario tuvo en mente construirlo para utilizar 3 pisos y luego alquilar los demás. Hoy por hoy es un edificio de oficinas. Tiene un faro de 300.000 bujías en condiciones de funcionar. El edificio tiene muchas referencias a la Divina Comedia ya que su creador era admirador de Alighieri. Este lugar pertenece al barrio porteño de Monserrat.

Argentina has no "freedom of panorama" provision in its copyright law, neither are buildings mentioned among works to which copyright apply. At least some think there is de facto freedom of panorama in Argentina regarding buildings: It is uncontroversially accepted that buildings can be reproduced by paintings or photographs, without this reproduction infringing copyright.
