File:Dick's Park.jpg

Description Our local Major League Soccer team, the Colorado Rapids, just opened a soccer specific stadium here in town. Word has it from those in the know that it's one of the finest soccer stadiums in the country. Andrew and I missed the opening home game but had a chance to check out the second game at the new park. Pretty impressive. As for the stadium name, well, what can you do? The game and the city are cool but the name doesn't live up to either. It's the professional sports equivalent of "Bob's French Food." There must be a restaurant with that unlikely name somewhere in America :^)
